Dear Colleague,
Dear Colleague,
Thank you for expressing an interest in our venous teaching course at JVAI. Our current trainings are scheduled on Tuesdays. Cases may be tailored to the particular request of the participants.
The course is a daylong immersion in venous disease and techniques with particular emphasis on the Joyce Single Needle Technique for incompetent perforator vein laser ablation. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alrh243qKe0
Participants are responsible for air transportation to either Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) or Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers (RSW) a 45 minute drive to our institute. Participants will be met at the airport and transported to their hotel in Punta Gorda.
The course will begin with dinner Monday night. This will be an opportunity for the participants to get acquainted. In addition, there is an opportunity to interface with Michelle Joyce the owner of www.proactivephysicianservices.com, a practice reimbursement specialist, who is an authority on credentialing, coding and billing; and is available to advise you regarding your reimbursement cycle.
Tuesday begins with breakfast at the hotel. This is followed by 7-8 live cases with presentations and discussion in the morning. We then break for lunch. The afternoon consists of 7-8 cases with presentations and discussion.
A dinner on Tuesday evening will close the course. Wednesday morning includes breakfast at your hotel and transportation to the airport for your departure.
The total cost of the course is $3,500.00. This includes the full day of training, airport transfers, accommodations and meals that we provide. We accept all major credit cards for your convenience. If you are interested in bringing a spouse or significant other the additional cost to cover the meals is $200.00
This is an upscale and enjoyable course designed specifically to provide personalized attention to each participant. Each session is limited to 4 physicians as I feel that a small group is best for teaching, comfortable interaction and group conversation.
We also offer advanced ultrasound technician training for detecting incompetent venous disease; especially incompetent perforator veins. Many physicians find this to be a great opportunity for their ultrasound technicians to sharpen their skills. The cost is $500. (Does not include hotel or meals)
If you would like to attend a course session, please contact us by email or phone.
I hope to see you in Punta Gorda, Florida, soon.
Regards,
